The Bolton Valley Nordic Center (802-434-3444 ext. 1076, www.boltonvalley.com) in Bolton Valley, VT is located near Interstate 89 off exit 11 from the north or exit 10 from the south. There are 35 km of groomed trails with 20 km of trails for snowshoeing. Lessons, xc ski and snowshoe equipment rentals are available. The inn has eight newly renovated bedrooms in the lodge and a one mile trek to the more rustic cabin. Ice skating, and night skiing are also featured at Sleepy Hollow as well as trails to Butternut Cabin with stunning views of Camel's Hump. Novices will be introduced to a new world of outdoor winter beauty by an expert staff with lessons, rentals, and tours in a variety of activities including in-track classic skiing, backcountry ski touring, telemark and snowshoeing. The trails are in the Mount Mansfield State Forest.
