The South Cariboo is the self proclaimed international Nordic Ski Capital,
and boasts the world's largest cross country skis-36 foot Karhu racing
skis-outside its Visitor Info Centre. The 99 Mile Trails is a 150 km
community-based trail system, one of the longest groomed networks in

plenty of winter activities to choose from. The Dawn Mountain Nordic
Center offers 30 km of groomed trails for both classic and skate skiing.
Skiing the Dawn Mountain trails promises fantastic views of the surrounding
Purcell and Rocky Mountain ranges. The trail system comprises gently
rolling loops along with an extended system of moderately difficult
trails spreading through coniferous forests, open meadows and gentle
ridge lines.

Just minutes from Whistler Village, the Lost Lake Cross Country Ski
Trails has 30 km of groomed track-set and snowshoe trails. The entire
trail system meanders through Lost Lake Park, the Chateau Whistler Golf
Course and Nicklaus North Golf Course in the valley. A log hut perched
on the shore of Lost Lake offers a cozy and warm shelter along the way.
Cross Country Connection is the main stop for trail tickets, maps, snacks,
lessons, and equipment rentals. Rest rooms and drinking stations are
at designated areas on the trail.
