Byrncliff Golf Resort & Banquets in Varysburg, NY is a year-round resort nestled in the rolling hills of Wyoming County in Western New York State featuring 20 km (12 miles) of groomed trails with 8 km lighted for night skiing. In 2017, Bryncliff celebrated its 50th anniversary of operation! Open daily with on-site lodging and restaurant services and entertainment, ski and snowshoe rentals and lessons. In the summer months there is an 18-hole golf course, outdoor pool and mini-golf.
Byrncliff attracts people from the Greater Buffalo/Niagara Region, Rochester, out-of-state, and even Canada. You can enjoy the picturesque winter scenery, delicious fare from Byrncliff's full-service restaurant, and the convenience of cozy on-site lodging. Skiers and snowshoers can enjoy the pristine groomed and lighted trails at Byrncliff, with 13 different wooded and open trails sprawling over 12 miles (25 kilometers). Hours of operation are Sun - Wed: 9 AM-5 PM; Thurs – Sat: 9 AM – 9 PM. Ski trail fees are discounted for aged 60+ and youth aged 13-17, or aged 6-12 and trail access is free for those under 5 . These rates are good ALL DAY ANY DAY.

Seniors and youth (13-17) $19 for day pass and $15 after 2:30 PM. Kids aged 6-12 $13 for full day and $10 after 2:30 PM. Rentals $22 for adults, $19 for youth, $13 for kids below age 13. Learn to ski 1 hour with trail fee is $65 and group lesson with 2-4 people is $45 per person.
Lessons are about 1 hour and are offered BY APPOINTMENT ONLY (call or use email on the website). The trail pass is included with lessons for the day.
There is live music entertainment at Byrncliff Resort on Saturday nights in January and February. Ladies Night on Thursdays when women are offered half price trail fees for XC skiing or snowshoeing.
Ski (or Snowshoe or Snowmobile) & Dinner Special Enjoy a night out on groomed and lighted trails, then warm up after in Byrncliff’s cozy restaurant with a delicious meal and hot beverage. One day of unlimited skiing or snowshoeing or snowmobiling and one dinner from select list (upgrades to sirloin steak available).

Rentals are available for skis, boots and poles or snowshoes. Sledding is and tube rentals are available. Dogs on a leash on the Grasshopper loop or snowshoe trails.
"Ski & Stay" packages (such as Winter Getaway for lodging, dinner, breakfast and skiing) include access to Byrncliff's 12 miles of groomed and lighted XC ski trails and delicious fare from Byrncliff's full-service restaurant, and the convenience of cozy on-site lodging. The inn has 24 traditional rooms, which have two double beds, cable TV, heat and AC, and coffee makers. The Brookview Suites have a king-sized bed, in-room hot tub, and small refrigerator with connecting outdoor covered porches. The recently renovated Maple Lodge is a rental house near the Byrncliff clubhouse and it is great for groups (wedding parties, extended families, etc.) and accommodates up to 12 people with a fully equipped kitchen, 2 king beds, 2 queen beds, and a queen pull-out sofa, WiFi, cable TV, coffee maker, gas fireplace, two refrigerators, telephone and more.

Directions: Located off Route 20A between Buffalo and Rochester, New York. From Buffalo and Canada - Follow 190 South to the NYS Thruway 90 West towards Erie and then take the first exit (East Aurora Route 400 South). Proceed approx 15 miles on Rte 400 to the East Aurora Route 20A exit. Turn left and go east on Rte 20A approx. 12 miles to Byrncliff. Turn right on Humphrey Rd.
From Rochester and Syracuse - take the NYS thruway west to exit 48A (Pembroke)- Follow Route 77 south approx 16 miles to Route 20A. Turn left and Byrncliff is just down the street on your right. Turn right on Humphrey Rd.
