Mountain Top Resort Nordic Ski & Snowshoe Center in Chittenden, Vermont has 60 km of trails with 40 km groomed for classic and skate skiing, 40 km of backcountry trails, and 2 km of trails covered with snowmaking. State-of-the-art grooming, snowmaking, and an elevation to 2,174 feet just about guarantee great conditions on every visit. Located on 700 acres, the Mountain Top Resort is tucked away in high country not far from Killington. The trails are well manicured and provide sweeping views of the pristine mountain lake and the expansive Green Mountain National Forest as well as easy access to the Catamount Trail. Apres ski, the full service spa and salon will allow you to relax and rejuvenate.

In winter, the Mountain Top Resort also offers sledding (for in-house guests), ice skating, and horse-drawn sleigh rides. When combined with children's lessons, pulks to rent and the kid-friendly menu in the Tavern, the Mountain Top Resort is a great choice as a family destination. In summer, the Resort is transformed into a summer getaway with an extensive Equestrian Center, private beach, clay bird shooting, scenic boat rides, heated outdoor pool, and much more.
The resort's lodge and facilities have been restored extensively. Sip hot cocoa and enjoy S'mores by a roaring fire or enjoy apres ski cocktails in the Tavern. The resort has 32 beautiful guest rooms in the main lodge, plus luxury cabins and guest houses. Complimentary afternoon refreshments are served in the lobby daily. With one of Vermont's best views luxurious accommodations, creative cuisine and year-round activities - you're sure to enjoy your escape from everyday at Mountain Top.
For the guest who likes to share his/her vacation with a canine companion, the cabins and several guest houses are pet friendly and there are designated pet trails to ski or snowshoe. It includes lodging, trail passes, taxes, and resort fees.
